The best way to merge 2 Collection Studio COL files is usage of the export/import feature. To do merging follow next instructions:
1. Export col1 file into 1.xml (attention: in xml format - only this format supports export/import of emended images into collection);[br]2. Export second collection file col2 into 2.xml;[br]3. Create a new collection - col3.[br]4. Import into col3 - 1.xml;[br]5. Import into col3 - 2.xml.
That's all.

You have to specify as much as possible types for each column in the Import table. And only then press "Import" button. Unfortunately, right now, "Import" tool doesn't support importing images from the file.
