Sometime I obtained corrupted *.col file after saving it. The part of collection is removed for unknown reason and the size of file is reduced. After the revising the col file using the WordPad I have found that the saving stpoped on "Krause #" field of last saved item. Then I open the Coin Edit Dialog/CoinInfo tab and found that "Krause #" field filled by "Tread@@" word. After deleting it I can save the complete collection. But this situation occurs again and without any law.

Thank you for your message to support.

We have two ideas why it can happens, the first one we have already checked (it can be situation when IDs of the several controls on the Edit dialog have the same values) the second possible situation is now processed. If your situation will not changed with new version of the CollectionStudio 3.56 - we will ask you to reboot your PC more often. In all cases this should be resolved.

more information: this bug caused when I open collection by double clicking of *col file. Then I can see the "Thread@@" on the "Krause #" field. And the bug is absent if I invoke collection from Collection Studio.

It is a very good information from you. This problem with "double clicking of *col file" cause in CS 3.55 another problem with memory usage which was already reported by other CS users (in several cases CS just crushes at start-up, but in your case it continues to work in unstable state). It was already fixed in CS 3.56, therefore your problem with "Krause #" field we can consider as fixed.

Generally we try to answer everyone in short period of time. We need time to check the problem, to guess the possible solution for not reproducible errors (for special usage cases made by our users), to make additional checks in software to increase stability or quality etc...

Sorry for delay in answers. :balloon:
